VDos 2026 Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026. VDos 2026 does not collect personal information. It has no analytics, no advertising, and no account to sign in to. The only data it sends off your PC is the print jobs your DOS program prints, and they go only to the printers you choose.

What Stays on Your PC

Settings, print files, print logs, and crash reports are saved in %LOCALAPPDATA%\vDos 2026 and are never uploaded or sent anywhere by VDos 2026. Your DOS program and its data stay in the folder you map as drive C:.

What Leaves Your PC

Print jobs only. Network printer ports send jobs straight to the IP address and port you enter. Windows printer and Windows port settings hand jobs to Windows printing. VDos 2026 does not send usage statistics, crash reports, or any other information to jKirkerx or anyone else.

VDos 2026 is installed and updated through the Microsoft Store, under Microsoft's privacy statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
